The Seasonal Calendar: a creative year project
What would it be like to capture the whole year in a circle? Eight points, each marking a seasonal transition, come together as a whole you can return to year after year.
The Seasonal Calendar reflects the rhythm of light and dark, of growth and rest. It is more than a craft project: it’s a tangible reminder of the seasons that always return.
You don’t make the year circle all at once. At every seasonal shift you’ll receive a digital pattern, eight in total spread throughout the year. Step by step, you build the circle, with time to enjoy making each part at a calm pace.
And the best part: everyone can join in. Even if you’ve never worked with felt before. The patterns include clear instructions and detailed photos. You’ll learn as you go, in your own rhythm. There is also a private group where you can ask questions and share your progress.
Join the new Seasonal Wheel group
On 21 September, a new year group will begin.
You will receive all the materials needed to create the complete Seasonal Wheel in one carefully curated box, including no fewer than 38 colours of wool felt. You only need to add your own thread and cardboard.
The box also contains extra felt and patterns for a stand, so you can display your finished wheel in your home. A small gift from my atelier is included as well.
You will not receive all eight patterns at once. A new digital pattern will arrive by email at each seasonal transition, allowing your wheel to grow slowly throughout the year.
You will also be invited to a private group where you can ask questions, share your progress and see the Seasonal Wheels of other participants take shape.
